Franklin Graham - great guy, that one - wrote, "Christians went to the polls, and God showed up."
This Christian went to the polls too, so, I mean, I'm not really sure how to take that. There's a lot to unpack there. Of course, I am absolutely sure that Franklin Graham doesn't think I count as a Christian. I am one of the "godless progressives."
(I wonder if I should have a T-shirt made. I'd also obviously need to add "Nasty Woman." What else? What other warning labels should I carry?)
I really wanted to ask my pastor if I was still allowed to come to church, or if I just need way more church, or what. Probably I go to the wrong kind of church. I definitely understand the meaning of Christian quite differently. Tsk. Such gaps in my faith education.
