It appears I have not updated here in a month. I haven't done much of anything in the past month other than lie on the couch and otherwise fake it through the rest of my day...I've been sick. Ridiculously, absurdly sick.
But! I have a pretty good reason for feeling so miserable.
Matt and I are expecting another baby sometime in December -- the official due date is December 17, according to today's ultrasound, which puts me at 10 weeks and 5 days along. (Baby is actually measuring a bit ahead, which doesn't surprise me a bit -- Suzannah measured ahead during my whole pregnancy with her, and if we'd had an early ultrasound with her I'm pretty sure they'd have changed my due date and she wouldn't actually have been considered a 36-weeker.)
It's amazing how much like a baby she already looks, with little hands and feet. She even waved at us.
"That's cool!" Matt said as he watched the screen. And I couldn't stop grinning -- I just wanted to listen to the sound of that beautiful heartbeat all afternoon.
